Yamaha Utility Programs
Traditionally, most of the utility programs used originated from talented PSR keyboard owners as illustrated by the various tabs in this section. Yamaha provides several utilities that owners will find very useful.
Yamaha Firmware Upgrades
The Firmware Updater lets you upgrade the operating system (OS) of the instrument with firmware versions earlier than the indicated version.

Yamaha Expansion Manager
Yamaha Expansion Manager is a free PC/Mac desktop application that enables users to install and manage Expansion Packs as well as transfer via USB Flash Memory to PSR-S970/S770/S670/A3000 and Tyros5 (transfer wirelessly).

MEGAEnhnacer
MEGAEnhancer V1.4.0 is a software program that converts XG/GM song data (Standard MIDI File) to song data specially enhanced to be played back using an instrument or tone generator containing MegaVoices. With the use of the sophisticated MegaVoices, MEGAEnhancer automatically makes conventional song files with guitar, bass parts sound etc. much more realistic and authentic. The converted song data can be used only on the model which you selected before converting. (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 64bit, Windows 7, Windows 8 64bit, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 8.1 64bit)

- Tyros3 FileConverter V1.0.0 - This application is for users of the Tyros2, and converts Registration Memory, Song, Style(including OTS), Multi Pad, Custom Voice, and Custom Voice Library created on the Tyros2 for use with the Tyros3/Tyros4.
- Tyros2 FileConverter V1.1.1 - This application is for files created on the PSR-9000/9000Pro and TYROS. Please install this version of the Tyros2 File Converter to convert files created on these models into Tyros2 format first. The Tyros3 File Converter can then be used to convert these files for use with Tyros3/Tyros4.
