Yamaha Utility Programs

Traditionally, most of the utility programs used originated from talented PSR keyboard owners as illustrated by the various tabs in this section. However, recently, Yamaha has also provided several utilities that owners will find very useful. These are provided for owners who have purchased a new Yamaha arranger keyboard and want to convert the various files they had on an earlier keyboard for use on their new keyboard. These are available for download from Yamaha Corp Tyros3 download page. For your convenience, the programs are also provided below and can be downloaded by clicking on the program name.

MEGAEnhnacer

MEGAEnhancer is a software program that converts XG/GM song data (Standard MIDI File) to song data specially enhanced to be played back using an instrument or tone generator containing MegaVoices. With the use of the sophisticated MegaVoices, MEGAEnhancer automatically makes conventional song files with guitar, bass parts sound etc. much more realistic and authentic. The converted song data can be used only on the model which you selected before converting. [Version 1.2 - Windows 2000/XP(except 64bit)/Vista(except 64bit).]

T2_FileConverter

T2_FileConverter is for files created on the PSR-9000/9000Pro and TYROS. Install this version of the Tyros2 File Converter to convert files created on these models into Tyros2 format first. The Tyros3 File Converter can then be used to convert these files for use with Tyros3. [Version 1.1.1 - Windows 2000/XP(except 64bit)/Vista(except 64bit).]

T3_FileConverter

T3_FileConverter is for users of the Tyros2, and converts Registration Memory, Song, Style (including OTS), Multi Pad, Custom Voice, and Custom Voice Library created on the Tyros2 for use with the Tyros3. [Version 1.0.0 - Windows 2000/XP(except 64bit)/Vista(except 64bit).]

VoiceConverter

VoiceConverter is for the users of Tyros2 and CVP/PSR. This converts files of the Song, Style, OTS (One Touch Setting), Multi Pad and Registration Memory created on these models for mutual use. CVP and PSR refers to the CVP-409/407/405/403/401, CGP-1000 and PSR-S900/S700/OR700. [Windows 2000/XP(except 64bit)/Vista(except 64bit).]

MusicSoft Downloader

The Musicsoft Downloader is a software program that transfers music content back and forth between a personal computer and instrument. It also allows music content to be downloaded from the internet in a secure environment. [Version 5.5.0 - Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP(except 4bit)/Vista(except 64bit).]

Other Yamaha Programs

Yamaha also provides other programs essential to Yamaha arranger keyboard owners including USB midi drivers and operating system (firmware) upgrades.
