Kim Winther has made a number of registration tools available on his web site, Yamaha Tyros Registration File Tools. Kim's programs allow you to edit parts of the Yamaha arranger keyboard's registration files on a computer instead of on the keyboard itself. Tyros Registration Memory Editor

The purpose of Tyros Registration Memory Editor is to manage selected resources and features used in PSR-3000, PSR-S900, Tyros, Tyros2 and Tyros3 registration files. The program will load any registration file (.RGT) created on these keyboards and display the bank names and icons (for Tyros files) along with the style names, tempo, multipad names, song names, lyrics name, audio name, transpose and balance. All those can be edited as well. The program will allow only editing of existing registration banks already stored in a registration file. Adding of new banks has to be done on keyboard itself. Tyros Global Registration Bank Changer

The purpose of Tyros Global Registration Bank Changer is to globally change selected text in path names in all registration files. For example, you may want to:
- make a backup copy of your registration files that use styles and/or songs on a USB stick instead of the internal hard drive,
- change the folder or path in your registration files.
The program can search for a string in path names and replace it with another string. For example, if you change a folder name on the keyboard, you can use this program to quickly make that change to your registration files. There is a “Preview” button that will show what changes will be made before you actually apply them to your registrations files.

Tyros Registration File Composer
The purpose of Tyros Registration File Composer is to combine registrations from different files into one. The program can load several registration files, then allow you to select registrations to be copied into a new registration bank.
