Book List

There are 12,000 songs in this index drawn from the contents of 44 fake books, which listed almost 19,000 entries. Songs are listed alphabetically and include an abbreviation of the book(s) that song can be found in. The table below lists the fake books included in this index.  It is sorted by the abbreviations used in the alphabetical song indexes.  The "Songs" column shows the number of songs in the fake book. Many of these books are covered in our Fake Books Section, although some of them, like Richard Wolfe's Legit Professional Fake Book, are out of print now and may only be available via E-Bay.. 

All of the songs in this index are also available as a Microsoft Word document. Songs are printed in a two-column format, even so, the printout extends to 138 pages and will certainly fill a three-ring binder. That word file is available in a zipped format by downloading this MSIndex44.ZIP file.
