The PSR-2100 has a total of 354 panel voices.  These voices are distributed over 12 different Voice categories.  These categories match the Voice buttons on your keyboard.  The Tables on this page show you all of the voices available in each category as well as providing summary information.

Total Voices by Category

The Yamaha PSR-2100 has a junior partner, the PSR-1100.  One of the major differences between these two keyboards is the number of panel voices in each keyboard. All of the voices in the PSR-1100 are the same quality as the corresponding voice in the PSR-2100.  However, the PSR-2100 has more voices (354 versus 303) and has almost four times the number of more realistic voices, which Yamaha has labeled the Sweet!, Live!, and Cool! (SLC) voices.  These, and the Organ Flutes, are shown in the SLC column in this table.

32 Sweet! Live! and Cool! Voices

These voices are based on a higher sampling rate, which produces a more realistic sound.  There are a total of 32 of these enhanced voices in the PSR-2100.  All of the Sweet!, Live!, and Cool! voices in the PSR-2100 are shown in the table below.  For those of you who have a PSR-2000, I have highlighted the voices in the PSR-2100 that are not available in the 2000. There are also seven "Regular" voices in the PSR-2100 that are not available in the PSR-2000.  Those voices are shown in column four.  An asterisk (*) by a voice indicates voices that are not available in the PSR-1100.  The PSR-1100 has picked up a number of the SLC voices that were in the 2000, but it doesn't seem to have any of the new SLC voices introduced with the PSR-2100. Click on any of the voices in BOLD to audition the voice.

Panel Voices by Category

In the tables below, you will find all the voices available in the PSR-2100 listed by category and by "Page" within each category.  When you press a category "button" you are taken to page 1, shown as "P1".  The page numbers are at the bottom of your screen.  To see voices on the second page, you would select "P2".  Some voice categories require 5 pages to show all the available voices. In the table below, select any category by clicking on it and you will see all the voices in that category. Voices that are highlighted are not available on the PSR-2000.  Voices that have an asterisk are not available on the PSR-1100. Voices are listed as they appear on the various pages P1, P2, etc.
